On interiors, we replace damaged drywall, remove wallpaper, install floor and chair moldings and crown moldings, and repair surface imperfections prior to priming and painting.
What size of building do you paint?
We paint all sizes of residential homes from small ranches to three story contemporaries. We paint condominium complexes with multiple units and apartment complexes. We paint commercial buildings and can apply a high volume of paint from multiple sprayers. We do not paint buildings over forty five feet in height.
Do you offer design advice?
We assist customers with color fans and information about the latest trends in colors, faux finishes, accent walls and other custom paint applications. If design/decorating help is needed we work with two decorators/interior stagers in the area who provide very reasonable rates to our customers.
What brand of paint do you use? What brand do you recommend?
We use Pittsburg and Sherwin Williams primers, stains, and paints. There are many quality paint providers on the market today and we will use them at the request of our customers. We find that Pittsburg and Sherwin Williams offer the broadest range of paints and paint products, the best quality, the best support from their Representatives should any problem arise with their products, and our painters appreciate the way the paint applies.
Are your painters employees or independent contractors?
Our painters are employees of Esser Building and Painting, while there are many quality independent contractors available, we find the best way to assure quality work for our customers is to use our own in-house trained painters/employees.
Do you require payment up front?
We do not require a deposit. We require 50% of the fee when the workers are on the job the first day of the project and the balance when the job is complete and our customers are satisfied.
Will my property be protected?
We carry insurance for any unforeseen problem, but more importantly our painters are trained in safely handling equipment and moving items. We tape, shield, or otherwise cover surfaces that are not to be painted. We move all furnishings either out of a room to be painted or into the center of the room and cover them with tarps. Similarly we protect plants and grounds outside with tarps when painting or staining. All window treatments are removed and counter tops covered as part of the preparation.
Will I hear loud music and bad language while you are working?
The painters are respectful of the customers and neighbors when painting. Foul language is not allowed on the job site, and while music may be played it will not be blaring or offensive.
Will you start on time every day and will you finish on time?
Our painters arrive on the job ready to go by 8:30 and work until 4:30. We work on a project until it is completed, jobs are not interrupted and customers are kept up to date with the progress each day.
